    Mr. Alfredo “Sir Fred” Templa Limbaga is the Vice President for Finance and Administration of Professional World Education System. Sir Fred holds on a concurrent capacity, the position of School Administrator of the Philippine Women’s University (PWU) – Career Development and Continuing Education Center (CDCEC), Misamis Oriental.

    Despite a very busy schedule, Sir Fred finds time to be with his family – his wife, Ms. Karen and their cute baby boy, Mackenzie Luke.

    Like many chefs, Chef James grew up in a family where everything was made from scratch, and began cooking as a teenager.

    James has of course never stopped manning the stove, and frequently cooks for private parties, weddings, and other events.

    In January 2011, he added teaching to his long list of skills, and joined CIC as a Chef Instructor. He sees his role as giving students the cornerstone of their career, which will then allow them to “build the cathedral.” Knowledge is not the only thing he shares with his students, however: the lifelong passion he has for his craft is another essential element of what he communicates.

    Maria Lourdes Cruz-Caudal is a Culinary Nutritionist-Dietitian. Chef Malou has taken her knowledge and skills as a professional chef with a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics to a new level. She facilitates food lifestyle change through personalized nutrition therapy and culinary guidance. Central to Chef Malou’s work is educating people about nutrition through hands-on experiences with food— learning how to shop for and prepare food is paramount to understanding how to eat a healthy diet.

    Mrs. Caudal worked in various settings including food establishments, schools and private practice. In Manila Doctors College, she was formerly the Lead Person for Nutrition, Over-all Coordinator of the College of Arts and Sciences and Head of the Nutrition and Culinary Arts Department. She was the Head of the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Services Department of Negros Navigation Oceanlink Institute.

    One of Chef Malou’s greatest passions is to encourage people to prepare nutritious food and she has visited many schools and colleges in Manila giving demonstrations. In 2007 she designed the Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition with Culinary Arts in Manila Doctors College - not just to educate students about nutrition but to apply culinary arts in a number of subject areas.

    In 2009, she spearheaded the TESDA Accreditation of Bartending NC II, Commercial Cooking NC II, Food and Beverage NC II and Housekeeping NC II in Negros Navigation Oceanlink Institute. Chef Malou is due to publish another book this year which will help people to gain confidence in their cookery ability and skills.

    After successfully completing the standards set forth by the National Restaurant Education Foundation for the ServSafe Food Protection Certification Examination, Mrs. Caudal conducts trainings and seminars on Food Safety and Sanitation.

    Edna Arante is the current School Registrar of the Institute.

    A BSBA degree from Asian College of Science and Technology (ACSAT), coupled with her diligence, determination and hard work, Edna was absorbed by the same school as Asst. Registrar immediately after graduation.

    As custodian of students’ records, Edna registers students, records grades, prepares TOR’s, evaluates academic records, and analyzes enrollment and demographic statistics.

    In addition to affecting student life, Edna influences the way chef instructors do their jobs. She strives to provide exemplary service to students, chef instructors and staff. It has always been her goal to provide timely assistance to all and to secure all student record information.

    Ms. Restie J. Garcia is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts - Major in Economics at Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan. She has various work experience especially in the field of Food Industry.

    She started out as Service Crew at two Fast Food companies during college. After finishing college, she worked as a Manager for Greenwich Pizza Corporation for 8 years and another year in a Thai restaurant.

    Her passion in Sales and Marketing has made her way to becoming the first Marketing and Operations Officer in CIC and currently she is the Head in Marketing and Promotions.  Ms. Garcia loves to interact with different kinds of people and she always takes on challenges positively.

    Roque Aban

    As general services head, Roque Aban is responsible for a broad range of services performed throughout his area of responsibility such as handling and safekeeping of all the perishable items including the equipment and facilities of CIC and inventory and organization of all the items.

    Roque also provides other support functions to other departments. He actively participates in groups and committees that effectively formulate regulations and policies related to department services. He responds quickly and efficiently to serve requests of CIC staff and chefs.

    Roque believes that a reasonable man adapts himself to the world while an unreasonable man persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
